Sports & Entertainment Conference
The DECA Sports and Entertainment Marketing Conference is an interactive experience that showcases the best from these marketing careers in an atmosphere that will delight every conference participant. DECA members who attend this conference will not only hear presentations from experts, but will get to participate in a focus-group type experience in the Universal Theme Park, while still having time to enjoy the fun of the park. Tickets that come with the registration fee allow attendees to enjoy local entertainment and/or sports events.

The International Career Development Conference

The International Career Development Conference (ICDC) is the highlight of the DECA year for the approximately 15,000 members, advisors, businesspersons and alumni who attend. Most of the participants are at ICDC as competitors in one of DECA's competency–based competitive events. Top competitors in each event category are recognized for their outstanding achievements.

- Competitive events begin at Exposition Center.
- Dawn at the Downs (breakfast at the racetrack – limited tickets available – approximately 850 total).

- Downtown Louisville activities (4th Street Live)
- Museums will stay open longer
