This November, travel to Washington, DC, to embark on the Ultimate DECA Power Trip. Washington, DC, becomes an experiential learning landscape for DECA members as they experience and learn in the career areas of marketing communications, buying and merchandising, entrepreneurship, government, hospitality and tourism, and sports and entertainment marketing.
Each DECA member will choose from one of six itineraries designed to provide a day of educationally enriching experiences in the city and a day of powerful learning from professionals during engaging workshops. DECA members will participate in a competitive events series that will help them learn how they can earn recognition in DECA’s world renowned competitive events program. Plus, a professional development session will be designed especially for DECA advisors.
The power trip will also feature two high-energy general sessions, a signature DC night tour, exhibits and corporate partners, and networking opportunities with members from the North Atlantic, Southern and Western Regions of DECA.
