DECA PREPARES EMERGING LEADERS AND ENTREPRENEURS IN MARKETING, FINANCE, AND HOSPITALITY AND MANAGEMENT

Virginia DECA is more than a high-school marketing student organization. It serves as a springboard for opportunity and growth for its almost 14,000 member throughout the state. The largest state association in the country, Virginia DECA helps marketing students prepare for careers in marketing, finance, and hospitality and management.

The Virginia DECA program is designed to create learning experiences that stretch beyond the traditional classroom experience.  DECA teachers understand what kind of experience is needed to be a successful leader.  That's why they work so hard to help students develop both personally and professionally by encouraging activities and employment experiences that help develop character, leadership, and a sense of obligation to their communities.
