The Virginia DECA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to obtain contributions and to award scholarships to deserving marketing students who are members of Virginia DECA, in their pursuit of careers in marketing, managment, or entrepreneurship.

Virginia DECA…

• Is a marketing student organization with more than 13,000 members.

• Has been the largest state association in the country for the last three years.

• Helps VA marketing students prepare for careers in marketing, management, and entrepreneurship.

• Increases awareness of civic obligations.

• Develops poise and leadership skills.

In 2006-2007 the Virginia marketing programs provided more than 20 different marketing courses to 33,000+ students in over 200 Virginia High Schools

Virginia marketing students earned over $26 million through employment in cooperative education positions in 2005-2006
