Anika has been a passionate DECA member since her freshmen year and has competed at DLC, SLC and qualified for ICDC. Previously, she served as your Region 1 Vice President and her chapter’s Vice President of Career Development. Beyond DECA, Anika is a part of her school’s Cheer Program, National Honors Society, English Honors Society, French Honors Society, Model UN, Amnesty International and serves as the Potomac Regional Chair for Virginia Team Democrats. Inspired by her term as a 2018 Virginia Senate Page, Anika further spends her time interning and volunteering on local campaigns. In her free time, she loves meeting new people, trying new foods, and playing with her dog, Champ. Anika is beyond thrilled to serve as your president this year and is looking forward to working with Team 77 and our membership to make this year a great one!

Troy has been an avid DECA member since his freshman year serving as his chapter's Vice President and Chapter Consultant as well as Virginia DECA Region 3 Vice President. Troy has competed at DLC, SLC, and ICDC. Outside of DECA Troy is a 4 sport Varsity Athlete participating in Golf, Cross Country, Indoor Track, and Outdoor Track. He is also a member of the Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy, and Y Street. Troy attended the 2020 Virginia Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Conference and serves as his high school's Student Representative to the School Board. Troy could not be more excited to have the opportunity to serve Virginia DECA once again with State Action Team 77!

Camryn has been a passionate DECA member since her freshman year and has previously served as her chapter’s Co-Director of Chapter Operations. She has competed at the State Fair, DLC, SLC and ICDC; being a state finalist each year. In addition to DECA, Camryn plays both field hockey and lacrosse for her school. Camryn is involved in multiple school clubs and is a founding board member for her school's chapter of the non-profit organization, Lifting Lives. Camryn enjoys working with the community and frequently volunteers with the Ronald McDonald House. She is thrilled to be serving on Team 77 and can not wait to connect with fellow Virginia DECA members!

Sami is a senior and has been a DECA member for three years. Since joining DECA his sophomore year, Sami has competed at DLC, SLC, and ICDC. Sami has served as the Executive Vice President of his chapter, and as DECA Liaison for his class. Aside from involvement in DECA, Sami is the Co-President and Founder of the Mock Trial team and has been a Class Treasurer for two years. He is a member of the National Honor Society, the DECA, Spanish, and Math Honor Societies, and the Young Entrepreneur Academy with the county’s Chamber of Commerce. As a volunteer, Sami enjoys coaching youth basketball, preparing DECA members for competition, and mentoring students in the field of law. Outside school, Sami enjoys painting, playing basketball, and spending time with his friends and family. Sami is honored to serve as your next Vice President of Hospitality and is looking forward to hosting fun events to connect Virginia DECA members from all across the state!

Ananya is a senior and has been an active member of DECA since her freshman year. She has competed at DLC, SLC, and ICDC, and previously served as her chapter’s Vice President of Member Achievement. Apart from DECA, Ananya is a member of multiple clubs within her school, including National Honor Society, Environmental Club, Hunger Relief, and WINGS mentoring. She is also an active volunteer at the Children’s Science Center, and is currently part of the center’s Youth Advisory Board. Ananya is beyond excited to serve as State Action Team 77’s Vice President of Career Development and cannot wait to work with all of Virginia DECA!
Region 1 VP

Olivia has been a passionate DECA member since her sophomore year, competing at DLC, SLC, and qualifying for ICDC. She loves to take part in her school’s projects and volunteer events, so that she may help younger members grow their love for DECA. Apart from DECA, she participates in numerous clubs and honors societies, such as the National Honors Society, Key Club International, and her school’s freshman mentor program. When she’s not wearing the DECA blazer, you may find her tutoring students at her local elementary school, leading a young women’s bible study, or working on her next painting! VA DECA, 2021-22 is going to be amazing and Olivia is excited to part of Team 77.
Region 2 VP

Tirth is a senior and has been an active DECA member since freshman year. He has held many leadership positions in his county and school. As a two-year chapter officer, he has served as the Director of Finance and Fundraising, and the Director of Alumni and Professional Relations. He is excited to translate the skills he has learned to serve all Virginia DECA members as their Region 2 Vice President. Tirth has competed at DLC, SLC, and qualified for ICDC. Outside of DECA, Tirth enjoys playing lacrosse, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and meeting new people. He is so excited to work with Team 77, and is honored to serve Virginia DECA in order to make this year the best for every member!
Region 3 VP

Lily is a senior and has been very involved with DECA and excited about her DECA journey since her freshman year. She has served two terms as a chapter officer to help grow her chapter and increase the passion and potential of members in DECA. Confidence has been a huge part of her attending DLC, SLC, and ICDC and Lily wants to help other members grow their confidence. When Lily isn’t enhancing her DECA experience, she is very involved in school. She is SCA President, an NHS member, and on the Principal's Advisory Council where she works to unite her school. Outside school, going to the gym, spending time with friends and family, shopping, working, and getting outside are what Lily loves most! She also helps run a location of Sign Sisters VA, which has helped her to grow a passion for running a small business. As an experienced leader, Lily is honored and excited to watch the members of Virginia DECA fall in love with their DECA journeys! She is very proud to represent Region 3 on Team 77!

Rachel is a senior who has been a committed DECA member since her freshman year. She is proud to have served as her chapter’s President and Vice President of Leadership. Rachel has competed at DLC, SLC, and ICDC in Orlando, Florida. Outside of DECA, Rachel enjoys playing softball for her team and volunteering in her community. She is a youth leader at Wings of Hope Ranch where she helps elementary and middle school students develop confidence while relieving stress and anxiety. She is an active member of her school’s BETA Club and enjoys music, sports, and traveling. Rachel is incredibly honored to represent you as your Region 4 Vice President and looks forward to networking with Virginia DECA members across the state!
Region 5 VP

Hope is a senior and has been a DECA member since her freshman year. She has been a chapter officer for 3 years and served as the district president during her junior year. She has been a state finalist at each SLC she’s attended, earning 3rd, 1st, and 4th. At ICDC 2021, Hope was an international finalist in Business Services Marketing, earning 6th overall. One of her favorite DECA memories is attending ICDC in Orlando and making friends with DECA members from across the globe. She hopes to make similar connections with all of Virginia DECA! When Hope isn’t in her DECA blazer, she is her school’s Key Club President, Class Treasurer, Sousaphone Section Leader in the Marching Band, and member of the swim and softball teams. Hope is ecstatic to represent Region 5 this year, and to see how Virginia DECA members Maximize their Momentum!
